For My Project for Emily I have made her a journal for all of her secrets!! :)  This journal is not the exact one she will be getting but it is just like it :) The only difference is that hers will have an E on the cover :)  I used some paper scraps from various retired lines and also My new Fave....the Kraft color ready borders that are on clearance right now for 2.50!!  You can get these here While Supplies Last!!

Cards for A Cause

Today I was challenged by Scrapbook Hoarders Anonymous, to create cards for our soldiers.  What a great challenge right?  I was quick to sign up and very eager to get started!  The challenge was actually for Christmas Cards, and although I detoured from the beaten path as I often do, fear not...Christmas Cards I shall make! :) Alas, we create art from the heart from where our inspirations take us to and that's just what I did.  

I have felt lately VERY inspired by all of the rich fall color that surrounds us now here in Missouri and so that is what I ran with :)  I also wanted to get in on a Mojo Monday Challenge (which I am ashamed to say I had never done yet) so I went to them for a little more Inspiration and this Is what I came up with.

I used basic paper for my card base because I wanted specifically the overlapping look that I created here with the scalloped edge.  I used paper from the GRACE collection which is now retired but you can find similar paper on my website HERE

I tied my ribbon around the front of the card and placed over it Half of a dimensional element.  I love these things!  They are white chipboard and you can ink them up to your hearts desire!  Love it! And the final touch was some Sunflower stickers that I just happened to have.......they worked great here I think!

I want to make some cards for soldiers too!

No Problem!  We would love for everyone else to get involved in this fun project!  It boosts moral for our troops, and it's fun too!  Such a good Cause!  Getting involved is EASY and I am even offering a give away for this project!  For every soldier card that you make and post on my facebook page, you will get 1 entry into the Project Soldier Giveaway!  5 cards = 5 entries :) You get the point, right?  The drawing will be for a FREE awesome card making kit!  See the kit and all the details on my giveaway page!

Contact me if you want to get involved and I will send you the information on where to send your finished cards.  Then just start making cards!  But don't forget to photograph them and post them on the Little Scrap Corner facebook page so you can have a chance to win an AWESOME card kit!

Halloween Swap Event

Halloween Swapping Fun!

As October is rolling in, and we have officially began the fall season, I have switched gears to Halloween projects!  Partly because I have a little one so of course Halloween is a big deal around here....but also because I just love the colors of fall!  They are just so warm and inviting - Don't you think?

I love bath pics!  So this was fun for me!  For today I am going to share My little one (who is not so little any more lol) in a layout I designed for his very first bath :)  I LOVE this page.........and there is so much more you could do with it as well!  Pics in the bubbles.........pics in the tub..........you could jazz up the bubbles with some bling and sparkle...............the sky is the limit on this one!

Now of course I have a little treat for all of you as well!

As some of you already know I am merging some different aspects of my studio into one which in great detail effects my CTMH Business :)  With this new merge I have decided to revamp my facebook page to simplify and so of course with that I have to do a re - launch :) I hope that as I switch from one page to another that you will all join me on the new page :) When I have transfered everything over I will be closing down my original facebook page and all of the fun will take place on the new one!
